Zsa Zsa Gabor’s Bel Air home has sold for $11 million.

However, the actress will be able to remain in the home for at least the next three years. Gabor and her husband Frederic Prinz von Anhalt will receive $325,000 during that time from the buyer through the delayed sale. Should she pass away during that time, the deal will close.

According to the Los Angeles Times , the mansion was the setting for director Steven Soderbergh’s Liberace biopic Behind the Candelabra and Ben Affleck’s Argo . The sprawling home, which was constructed in 1955, sits on an acre of land and features a whopping 28 bedrooms. Altogether, the new owners will enjoy 8,878 square feet of living space.

Zsa Zsa Gabor and her husband aren’t the only famous individuals to call the mansion home over the years. The website also reports that Howard Hughes and Elvis Presley once lived at the residence. The actress didn’t move into the house until 1973.

The Christian Post explains that health and money problems recently forced Gabor and her husband to sell their Bel Air home. The actress was confined to a wheelchair after an accident in 2002. These problems were later compounded by strokes she suffered in 2005 and 2007.

Sadly, Gabor would have her left leg amputated in 2011 after battling an infection. She was also hospitalized numerous times during that year. These health problems have taken a financial toll on the couple, leaving them no choice but to put the mansion on the market.

A Los Angeles judge ruled last month that Gabor and her husband could remain in the home for the rest of her life. The Inquisitr reported that Frederic Prinz von Anhalt was understandably thrilled with the judge’s decision.

“This decision is going to make her very happy. Hopefully she will be with us for more than three years. Her mother lived to be 102,” Gabor’s husband told reports after the court hearing.
