A Florida woman was inspected by the police for overspeeding and multiple traffic violations. The officers stopped her and asked her several questions. She told them she had anger issues and went for a drive to calm down. She denied drinking or being on medication but admitted to being emotional. This incident took place on March 21, 2025, and was captured on bodycam.

The investigation started normally as the police suspected intoxication. As part of field sobriety exercises, they made her walk in a straight line, test her eyes, and stand on one leg. Another test assessed her sense of left and right by having her touch her nose.

The final exercise involved counting to 30 seconds with her eyes closed. After this, the officers announced she was under arrest for driving under the influence. She denied it, but the officers inspected her tumbler, which was full of alcohol, and her breathalyzer reading was 0.008.

At that time, she started crying and denying that she was even drunk. She told the police that this is the second time in three weeks that this has happened to her. The Florida woman admitted to having a manic episode but denied being under the influence.

She says, “I’m not drunk. I’m not drunk. I refuse to say something you guys think I’m drunk. I’m not. I haven’t had anything to drink. I haven’t had anything. I am just manic. I’m psycho. I’m not drunk. I swear. I’m not I haven’t been drinking anything.”

Further stating, “What the f–k man? Are people not allowed to be mentally unwell? And this is now the second time in like 3 weeks you guys done this [ __ ] to me. What the f–k? I’m not even drunk. I’m not drunk.I’m not. I’m literally just having a manic episode and they are arresting me.”

The arrest soon became chaotic as the woman became too agitated. She hurled abuses and banged her head on the car. The police asked her to calm down as she was screaming and yelling that she wanted her husband. She threatened to knock herself out again, so DUI officers placed a helmet on her head.

The Florida woman says, You can take me to where there’s a hospital. You will not touch me. Cuz I said, “Do not touch me!” Stop touching me! You wh–e Get off of me!” The officers were seen saying, “Does anybody have the helmet on the car? I don’t have a helmet. I can get it from station five.”

The Florida woman goes on to threaten the officers, saying, “The second you let me go, I’m going to try and knock myself out.” At the end she was searched for weapons and then taken into custody.

The accused was found guilty of resisting an officer without violence, driving under the influence, and battery. She was sentenced to spend a day in county jail, pay $1,000 court costs, and serve 1 year of probation. Later, she had to do 75 hours of community service and go through random drug testing. Apart from this, she received a six-month ignition interlock requirement, a driver’s license revocation, and was required to complete DUI school.

Netizens shared sarcastic digs at the drunk woman after watching the bodycam footage. One YouTube viewer commented, “The epidemic of adults throwing temper tantrums is out of control.” The second one posted, “Sober people always bash their heads on cars and pavement to prove they’re not drinking, and alcohol in your sippy cup is proof positive.”

One more joked, “Cop said ‘for those at home’ knew this was going to be on YouTube.” Another one added, ‘I’m not drunk! I’m just manic because I’m psycho!!’ I believe her!!” Many pointed out her lack of self-awareness as she said the police keep targeting her for the same reason.
