An epic promposal went horribly wrong when the girl who was being asked to prom pretty much ruined the whole surprise. According to Aplus , Daniel Pena, 18, went out of his way to make something super special for the girl that he wanted to take to prom — but she totally dissed him, not realizing that the whole ordeal was for her.
Pena posted eight signs along a road, each that had a word to make “Alex. Will. You. Marry. LOL Jk. Go To. Prom. With Me.” He had a sign with a question mark in the backseat of his car. As Daniel encouraged Alex to read the signs, she made fun of them, calling them “sh***y.” When she finally read all of the signs, she didn’t hesitate to tell Daniel just how awful the idea was, not realizing that Daniel was actually asking her to prom. Alex’s reaction to Daniel’s promposal wasn’t what he expected, but once she realized what had happened, she started crying . According to Fox 13, Alex couldn’t stop apologizing. And, for those who were wondering, she ended up saying “yes” (check out the end of the video).
