French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte Macron’s latest gaffe is still the talk of the town, and Prince William and Kate Middleton might have made it worse. The French pair is being hosted by King Charles III for a three-day-long grand state visit, which started off a bit awkwardly.
Ironically, this time as well, their awkward encounter happened at the runway when Macron offered his hands to Brigitte while walking down the narrow steps from their plane. However, the First Lady of France was less interested in taking his hand.

Not too long ago, Emmanuel Macron and Brigitte Macron got critics fired up with their very awkward encounter while getting off a plane in Vietnam. The tumultuous moment unfolded when the French First Lady pushed her husband’s face away with both hands, which many concluded as her slapping him. The couple probably had no idea that they were visible in front of the many cameras lined up to capture their arrival.

Catherine, who has never worn Dior publicly before, seemingly chose it for the occasion to pay homage to the French guests in the UK.
