Elon Musk is at it again. It hasn’t been long since he began his very public feud with Donald Trump, and surprisingly, reconciled as well after delivering an unusual apology. However, it seems like he is again aiming at the U.S. President with yet another cryptic dig.
The United States is going through a turbulent time right now, as the ‘No Kings’ protests have been erupting in various cities across the nation. Amid the tension, Musk shared a video of one of SpaceX’s Starship rockets making a successful landing. What caught people’s attention was his caption. “No gods or kings, only men,” the Tesla owner wrote.
Many social media users speculated that Elon might be taking a subtle jab at Donald Trump through this post as the nation deals with protests against his immigration crackdown, dubbed as ‘No Kings.’
Not only that, he shared another similar post with the same lines, captioning it, “Anyone else think of this yesterday?”
Of course, the social media users were surprised to see Musk’s posts. “Hey @elonmusk, are you joining our #NoKingsProtest?” one user asked him.
Donald Trump and Elon Musk‘s bond grew stronger after the last election. As the Republican leader took over the Oval Office for the second time in his political career, Musk became his “First Buddy” and advisor, joining him almost everywhere. He was appointed as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) under a special government contract. The pair worked hard to reshape the federal government through controversial moves like mass layoffs or dismantling departments altogether.

However, mere months later, their relationship suddenly deteriorated after Trump began pushing for his “big, beautiful bill.” Elon Musk wasn’t satisfied with Trump’s decision, calling the bill ugly. Although Republicans initially had a great view of Musk, it changed after his strong opposition. “I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore. This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination. Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it,” Musk wrote on X.

Amid the tension, Trump threatened to cut Musk’s government contracts. As a response, the SpaceX owner made some bombshell claims on X, alleging that the President is reluctant about releasing all Epstein files, because he has his own name on them.
However, days after the drama began unfolding, Elon made a massive U-turn. “I regret some of my posts about President Donald Trump last week. They went too far,” he wrote.
This sudden shift was another shock. However, after his recent post, many are confused as to if he’s hinting at another fall out with Uncle Sam.
