The View co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck is being sued by a woman who is claiming she plagiarized her book about celiac disease.
Susan Hasset claims that Hasselbeck’s new book “The G-Free Diet: A Gluten-Free Survival Guide” infringed on her copyrights for her own book “Living With Celiac Disease.” Hasset claims she sent Hasselbeck a copy of her book in April of last year. Hasselbeck suffers from Celiac disease, an autoimmune disorder linked to gluten proteins in wheat, barley and rye.
A spokesman for Hasselbeck said that the claims are unfounded and that the suit would be vigorously defended.
