Eddie Murphy: Ninth Child With Paige Butcher To Arrive In The Coming Months

Comedian Eddie Murphy is the proud father of eight children, ages 8 to 26, and is now expecting his ninth child with his girlfriend, Paige Butcher!
TMZ reports that Eddie’s girlfriend, Paige Butcher, appears to be five or six months pregnant. The couple announced their pregnancy back in November.
According to Celebrity Baby Scoop, this will be Butcher’s first child. Eddie Murphy already has eight other children with four other women.
Eddie’s oldest child, Eric, 26, was with Paulette McNeely while his second child, Christian Murphy, 25, was with Tamara Hood. Eddie and ex-wife Nicole Mitchell share Bria, 25; Myles, 22; Shayne, 21; Zola, 15; and Bella, 13. Eddie’s youngest child is Angel, whose mother is Melanie “Mel B” Brown.
Eddie’s rep, Arnold Robinson, told E! News that Murphy was expecting his ninth child with Paige, and USA Today reports the baby is due in May of 2016. It is also reported that Eddie and Paige have been together for four years.
A person close to the star of Dream Girls made a statement to the Daily Mail.
“He couldn’t be happier. Eddie really is a family man and loves all of his children, so he’s so excited about having another one on the way. Even though he has eight children by four different women, they all come together on holidays and for sporting events and hang out at his mansion as one big blended family. All of the children love each other dearly and the women, having all moved on with their own relationships, co-exist very well together.”
E! Online shared that Murphy and Butcher stayed fairly quiet about their relationship. Eddie and Paige first opened up about their relationship in 2013 when Paige admitted to Vanity Fair that her relationship with Eddie made her uncomfortable with joining social media.
“I’m in a relationship with a celebrity, so I felt like there’s already enough of me out there. I felt like I was giving out too much information. I was giving people too much access. I like to keep as much private as possible now.”
It was reported on Deadline that during the midst of the baby news, Eddie was cast to play Pryor’s father in Director Lee Daniel’s Richard Pryor biopic. Along with Eddie, Kate Hudson will be playing Pryor’s widow and Oprah Winfrey will star as the grandmother of Pryor.
Eddie’s longest relationship was with his ex-wife of 22 years, Nicole Mitchell. Eddie and Nicole were married from 1993 to 2006, according to Yahoo!. After his long relationship with Mitchell ended, Eddie married Tracy Edmonds in 2008; however, their relationship turned sour just two short weeks after tying the knot, People reveals.
In 2006, right after divorcing Mitchell, Eddie began dating “Mel B” Brown, mentions Biography. In 2007, Brown gave birth to a baby girl named Angel, whose paternity Eddie questioned; however, the DNA test revealed that he was indeed Angel’s father.
After taking a few years off from relationships, Eddie began dating Paige Butcher in 2012.
