Donald Trump blasted at Vladimir Putin after Russia launched a deadly air strike on Ukrainian cities on Sunday, May 25. Reportedly, 298 drones and 69 missiles were launched in its overnight assault on Ukraine, which claimed the lives of at least 12 people and left many injured.

Trump jumped to his Truth Social account and called Putin ‘crazy’ without any hesitation. He said, “I’ve always had a very good relationship with Vladimir Putin of Russia, but something has happened to him. He has gone absolutely CRAZY! He is needlessly killing a lot of people, and I’m not just talking about soldiers. Missiles and drones are being shot into Cities in Ukraine, for no reason whatsoever.”

In another post, Donald Trump seemed to have threatened Putin, suggesting that Russia could have massively suffered if he hadn’t had their back. Trump’s post reads, “What Vladimir Putin doesn’t realize is that if it weren’t for me, lots of really bad things would have already happened to Russia, and I mean REALLY BAD. He’s playing with fire!”

Trump’s message to Putin was also shared on the official social media pages of the White House along with his fierce portrait. However, people weren’t pleased with Trump’s bold message and reminded him of his old claim that he would end the Russia-Ukraine war within 24 hours if he’s elected the President. It’s been over four months, and Trump’s charm doesn’t seem to be working at all.

Slamming Trump, someone commented on the post, “If you post a picture of yourself making a really mean face with a really mean message, does it make you a better leader?”

“This is such a weird flex. You’re advertising that you’ve been protecting Putin?” wrote someone else.

A similar comment reads, “So he’s admitting to protecting russia…?”

Trump warned that if Putin continues the war, it would “lead to the downfall of Russia.” He said in his post, “I’ve always said that he wants ALL of Ukraine, not just a piece of it, and maybe that’s proving to be right, but if he does, it will lead to the downfall of Russia!”

He didn’t spare the Ukrainian President either, as he added, “Likewise, President Zelenskyy is doing his Country no favors by talking the way he does. Everything out of his mouth causes problems, I don’t like it, and it better stop. This is a War that would never have started if I were President. This is Zelenskyy’s, Putin’s, and Biden’s War, not “Trump’s,” I am only helping to put out the big and ugly fires, that have been started through Gross Incompetence and Hatred.”

Russia, however, remains unaffected by Donald Trump’s threats. Putin’s spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, told the reporters, “We are really grateful to the Americans and to President Trump personally for their assistance in organizing and launching this negotiation process.”

As per Deccan Herald, he added, “Of course, at the same time, this is a very crucial moment, which is associated, of course, with the emotional overload of everyone absolutely and with emotional reactions.”
