It is socially unacceptable to discuss someone’s weight, but it is particularly impolite for the president of the United States to do so. President Donald Trump recently discussed Ozempic, a well-liked weight-loss medication that has been sweeping the country, in a White House speech. Ozempic has gained popularity with many celebrities, even though dermatologists are worried about “Ozempic Mouth.”
In typical Trump flair, he mentioned a buddy of his who is a wealthy businessman and is using the drug. Trump described this individual as “seriously overweight” and “highly neurotic,” and related how his friend had called him while he was in London to inquire as to why the drug was so much less expensive in the UK than it was in the US. In response to this friend’s statement that he was taking a “fat drug,” Trump said, “It’s not working.”
Trump on Ozempic: “A friend of mine who is a businessman… Most of you would’ve heard of him. Highly neurotic. Brilliant businessman. Seriously overweight. And he takes the fat shot drug… I said it’s not working.”

That’s simply not the type of thing you share with America during a political broadcast, but it might work if you’re speaking face-to-face and you both have a similar sense of humor and your friend understands that it’s coming from a good place. The year is 2025. Please refrain from fat-shaming others whenever possible.
Although Trump did not identify the guy, the internet is certain that it is Elon Musk, his best friend. “This is 10000% about Elon,” tweeted one person on X, formerly known as Twitter. Others shared photos of Musk online to make their case.
It’s interesting to note that President Donald Trump is not in the ideal position to make fun of the weight of others. After his first stint in office, Trump lost weight, although there were allegations that the tycoon was on Ozempic himself.
It might possibly have resulted from Trump’s favorite fast food being eliminated, much to the dismay of Robert F. Kennedy. People believed that the president was lying about both his height and weight when his medical report was made public earlier this year.
According to the physical, the NYC native is 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 224 pounds. On X, a lot of individuals shared pictures of Mr. President side by side with athletes with comparable stats, and none of them looked like Trump.
LOL. Trump Tells A Story About His Fat, Neurotic Friend
“A friend of mine who’s a businessman, very very top guy. Most of you would have heard of him. Highly neurotic, brilliant businessman. Seriously overweight and he takes the fat, the fat shot drug.” pic.twitter.com/6YCBZR6LKZ

Of course, he has body-shamed more than just one unidentified acquaintance. One of the sad facts of Melania’s life is that he allegedly advised her to lose weight after she gave birth to their son, Barron Trump.
Donald told Howard Stern, “I think I’ll give her a week [to lose the weight],” but he later acknowledged he was joking (via The Washington Post). Trump has also disparaged the weight of a number of famous women, such as Rosie O’Donnell and Kim Kardashian.
