Did Kim Kardashian Refuse Donald Trump Meeting Amid Alleged Kanye West Marriage Crisis? [Rumor]

Kim Kardashian did not accompany her husband Kanye West to Donald Trump’s meeting, sparking concerns on whether this was down to the recent problems the twosome have allegedly had in their marriage.

While Kim was said to have been fully supportive of Kanye’s recovery, following his eight-day stay at UCLA’s Medical Center, last month, she refused to follow her husband on his trip to New York, where he surprisingly met up with the president-elect.

Sources say that the twosome spoke for just over 10 minutes, discussing family, business, and Trump’s plans concerning the future of the country.

But not even that could get Kim Kardashian to jump on a plane. Hollywood Life reveals that Kardashian just isn’t fond of Donald Trump and his views; she doesn’t support him and wouldn’t have attended the event under any circumstances.

A source explains to the outlet, “Kim Kardashian was also invited to the Trump meeting with Kanye but turned down the opportunity. She did not want to join for several reasons, but mostly because she is not a supporter of Trump.”

According to an insider, Kim Kardashian and Kris both agreed on the fact that Kanye would need someone to follow him along on his trip to New York — especially after he had just been hospitalized for his mental state.

The last thing Kardashian would’ve wanted is to find Kanye back in the hospital, which would’ve only complicated things even more.

Corey Gamble, Kris Jenner’s boyfriend of two years, ended up making the trip with West, reportedly acting as the rapper’s spy, so that he can keep track of Kanye’s behavior and effectively let Kim Kardashian know how her husband is doing.

“It was Kim’s mother Kris who insisted that Corey Gamble go on Kim’s behalf, and Kim loved the idea so Kanye agreed. Kris wanted Corey to be a kind of spy and chaperone for Kanye to make sure he behaved himself during the big meeting. Kris and Kim also trusted Corey to report back all the details.”

“After everything Kanye has been through lately, he was glad to have someone from the family along for emotional support,” the insider concluded, stressing that Corey has become one of Kim and Kanye’s closest friends, who they trust like their own family.

Of course, it doesn’t go without saying that Kim Kardashian and her husband have been making endless headlines as of late, with some reports alleging that the twosome are heading for a nasty divorce — a report Us Weekly seemed sure of.

Despite her constant support with Kanye and his troubles, Kim Kardashian was alleged to have hit her breaking point, Us Weekly implied on December 7. The reality star is said to have moved out from the couple’s Bel-Air home in October, and now resides in Calabasas with her mother, Kris.

It was further claimed last month that Kim Kardashian was having a hard time accepting some of West’s recent actions, such as his public support for Trump, which explains why she was so hesitant on flying out to New York or the gathering at the Trump Tower this week.

In more positive news concerning the Kardashians, however, it is believed that the E! network will premiere the forthcoming series of Keeping Up with the Kardashians in January, where fans will get an inside look on Kim’s Paris robbery ordeal and West’s sudden downfall that led to his infamous hospitalization.

Do you think Kim Kardashian should’ve followed Kanye on his trip to meet Donald Trump? Considering all the negative headlines the couple have found themselves making lately, was it a good idea for Kardashian not to follow her husband on his trip to New York?
