Did ‘Counting On’ Star Joy-Anna Duggar Just Confirm She Was Pregnant When She Married Austin Forsyth?

Counting On star Joy-Anna Duggar-Forsyth is asking fans to forgive her, but it is not for what you might think. No, she didn’t admit to getting pregnant before she got married. Instead, she is asking for forgiveness because she has been absent from social media. Could her absence be blamed on the rumors flying around that she had a shotgun wedding because of an unexpected pregnancy?

According to Radar Online, Duggar-Forsyth went to Instagram and apologized for her absence, but she claims she has been busy getting ready for her baby. Along with a picture of her and her husband, Austin Forsyth, the 20-year-old added a caption with the apology and a promise to post more often.

A source close to Duggar-Forsyth claims that in addition to making baby preparations, the reality star and her husband are also getting close to finishing the house that they are building for their family.

It has been surprising for fans that Duggar-Forsyth has all but disappeared from social media during her pregnancy. Her sisters, Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald, who each have two boys, posted monthly updates with baby bump photos while they were expecting. But, Joy-Anna Duggar-Forsyth has only posted two pregnancy pictures, without any indication of how far along she is, and both of them have caused controversy.

The first picture, which came at around week 12 of her pregnancy — which was also exactly 12 weeks after her wedding — had doctors like Dr. Stuart Fischer claiming that she looked more like four to five months pregnant based on the photo.

Then, at approximately 18 weeks, she posted a baby bump pic with a caption claiming she had felt the baby move. But, Dr. Sean Henry said fetal movement doesn’t come until weeks 19-21, and she looked to be about 24-26 weeks along, according to her picture.

It has been a whirlwind year for Duggar-Forsyth and her husband. Romper reports that the two started courting in November of 2016, and by March of this year they were engaged. They originally scheduled their wedding to take place in October, but the couple moved it up five months and walked down the aisle in May.

By August, the couple announced they were expecting their first child. The speculation is that the baby is due in February or March, but the couple has not confirmed a due date.
