Xûr has returned to the Tower for the weekend of Friday, April 22, after spending the previous week at the Reef in Destiny . PlayStation and Xbox players can look forward to a collection of goods that includes two fresh Year Two pieces brought up from Year One with the recent 2.2 update, plus another pair of items that haven’t been around in a couple of months.
This weekend, Xûr can be found across from the Speaker in the Tower North. Simply head to the left when you first spawn in the Tower, and you’ll find him standing in front of a large, round door across from the speaker’s entrance. Here’s where you can find him on the Tower map.
Xûr and his items will only be available in Destiny through the morning of Sunday, April 24. He will be gone as soon as the clock strikes 5 a.m. ET/2 a.m. PT.

For those wondering what to get, here are a few helpful hints.
Monte Carlo
The Monte Carlo is for those Guardians who want to make the most out of their melee ability. This Auto Rifle reduces Melee cooldown when dealing damage and can completely recharge the Melee ability with kills. This stacks excellently with Exotic armor such as Sealed Ahamkara Grasps for Hunters, which grants Nightstalkers two Smoke Grenades and Gunslingers two Throwing Knives.
Helm of Inmost Light
The Helm of Inmost Light is a Striker Titan specific Helmet. It’s intrinsic “Recklessness” perk did receive a bit of a boost for the Year Two refresh thanks to the rebalancing of Titans in the 2.1 update. The helmet grants the “Death from Above” and “Headstrong” perks by default. The latter of those receives a sprint speed buff.
The pure 78 Intellect role is excellent for the helmet if you are a Destiny player who still prefers Strikers. Additionally, the perks combination is excellent with “Inverse Shadow” and “Heavy Lifting” being the two optional perks and “Infusion” planted as the final column perk.
Lucky Raspberry
The Lucky Raspberry is the exotic chest armor made for the Hunter Bladedancer sub-class. Its “Make Your Luck” intrinsic perk allows the Arcbolt grenade to chain further and lets you spawn with full grenade energy — excellent for PvP usage. Meanwhile, it also comes with optional perks to choose between increased Hand Cannon and Fusion Rifle ammo plus better Void damage recovery extra armor when using an Arc-based subclass.
The split 67 Intellect and 64 Discipline stat roll is superb. There’s little need to re-roll this piece unless there is a different set of ammo perks you seek.
Purifier Robes
Purifier Robes are still a coveted Warlock piece for the Sunsinger sub-class. The “Burn Brighter” intrinsic perk will cause the Sunsinger to burn brighter when activating Radiance from death. This causes nearby enemies to be blinded temporarily. This is very useful in PVE when surrounded by enemies, but its effect is not as great in PVP.
The exotic Destiny chest armor comes with optional perks to carry extra Special Weapon or Heavy Weapon plus a choice between extra defense against Void burn or extra armor when using a Solar-based subclass.
The 101 pure Intellect stat roll is excellent for the Purifier Robes as having your Super ready as quickly as possible is important. Feel free to re-roll though if Discipline or Strength is needed to balance out the character.
