Denise Richards , the 40 year-old actress and model, has adopted a baby girl and in doing so, has become a mother of three.
The new baby’s name, Eloise Joni Richards, was a combined family decision, according to People .
“Joni” was the name of Richards’ late mother and “Eloise” is a name that Denise’s other two daughters decided upon.
“Denise and Eloise’s big sisters couldn’t be happier and feel incredibly blessed,” a rep of the World is Not Enough star told US Weekly .
Richards’ two other daughters, Sam, 7, and Lola, 5, are from her previous marriage to Charlie Sheen which ended in 2006.
Shortly after news of the adoption broke, Richards took to twitter to thank her fans for their ongoing support.
“Thank you all for your sweet messages. The girls and I are over the moon and so is my dad Grandpa Irv…xo,” she Tweeted.
