Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest that Theresa has an escape plan when it comes to leaving Salem in her rear view. As the Inquisitr reported, it looks like fans will have to say goodbye to Theresa as she’s planning for a big exit. To the shock of many Days of Our Lives fans, actress Jen Lilley posted the news on Instagram in a bid to say farewell, while also noting that there’re only a few more weeks with Theresa in the DOOL world.
In part, her statement reads as follows.
“It is with bittersweet sentiment that I find myself making this statement 6 months too soon. I absolutely love Theresa, and the idea of not playing her pains me. I once found a quote that perfectly describes her. I hate to dissatisfy our love for black and white explanations, but there’s no one to point your finger at here. Days of Our Lives and I are parting company on the best of terms.”
So where will we see Theresa in the coming weeks? Well, Days Of Our Lives spoilers lead us to believe that it doesn’t look good for the character. Fans have already started to speculate how Theresa will exit the series. One fan thinks that Theresa will fake her death to get rid of drug lord Mateo so that she can escape from his grasp.

While we aren’t sure how Theresa will exit the series, we do have a possible direction in plot if going by the teaser that was released. A report by Celeb Dirty Laundry revealed that Brady would deal with a huge blow when he finds Theresa with drugs. It’s said that he’s very concerned about Theresa and the path that she might go down, as she’s been down that path before. He already had concerns about Theresa due to her drinking, and now that it looks like she might be on drugs again, so Brady will have to act quickly.
Although Days of Our Lives spoilers, as well as actress Jen Lilley, indicate that Theresa is leaving DOOL , it may or may not be drug related. Although Brady is doing everything he can to keep Theresa on a straight and narrow path, she will also work against him and try to push him away. It goes deeper than Theresa’s drug past. She believes that if she gives in to Brady and makes an effort to accept his help, that Mateo will actually kill Theresa’s family if she doesn’t leave with him for Mexico. So, not only is she trying to save her family’s life, but she also believes that she’s trying to save Brady’s life as well.

With this bit of information, many wonder if Mateo will actually kill off Theresa if in the end her loyalty lies with Brady.
Regarding other characters, Days of Our Lives spoilers have covered Hope’s upcoming fate for weeks. As we know, Hope’s taped confession that she’s responsible for Stefano’s death is now out. Originally, Hope thought she was in the clear and could move on with her life with Rafe, but the tape was leaked, and now, Hope needs to start thinking about the possibility of serving jail time. It’s said that Hope will be arraigned as suspected, and will not be receiving good news. As it’s been hinted in the past , even though Rafe is standing by Hope, this bit of news will put a strain on their relationship.
