Dario Franchitti and Ashley Judd have apparently completely mended their marriage relationship almost a year later after things started to sour.

In a related report by The Inquisitr , the Dario Franchitti, Ashley Judd split happened in January of 2013 after 11 years of marriage, although they never officially divorced. But after Dario crashed during the 2013 Houston Grand Prix Ashley was compelled to visit him in the hospital . He suffered a broken right ankle and two fractured vertebrae, although 14 other spectators were injured, including a Indy 500 official.

A month later the three-time Indy 500 champion decided to retire just as his marriage was being restored. At the time, this is what inside sources claimed was going on :

“They are going to give it another try after he recovers. His accident made her realize how much she loves him.”

Many Hollywood couples desire their privacy so often enough the gossip magazines rely on supposed inside sources and family members for getting their news. In this case, the rumors apparently did match the reality of their restored relationship :

“He’ll always be my loved one. Even before our wedding, we agreed not to tell people about our relationship, but to show them instead. What we’re showing them now is we’re human, we’re family, and this is what family looks like.”

Of course, the reason Judd was giving the interview wasn’t to talk about Dario Franchitti. She was there to focus on her role in the new movie Divergent:

“It’s based on the teen books [by Veronica Roth] about a society that divides humanity into factions. I play a woman who doesn’t fit with the group she was born into. The film is really about the greatest fundamental human longing, which is to belong. But it’s also about that opposing desire to be an individual. That’s a profound tension I can certainly relate to.”

In this case she’s not referring to her husband or her marriage. Ashley’s mother and sister are of course famous in their own right and she says she suffered from depression from the “neglect” she suffered when younger. But now that she’s age 45 she already has her plans for the future:

“A feminist committed to social justice. A homebody. A Kentucky basketball fan. But mostly, a woman who has her priorities in order.”

Which, we assume, means Ashley Judd will be focusing on keeping her “happily ever after” with Dario Franchitti.
