Rumors started circulating two days ago that Christina Aguilera and Adam Lambert recorded a new single together for one of their albums after Tampa Bay radio station 93.7 FLZ said as much in a tweet . Unfortunately for fans of both singers, the rumor appears to be false.
According to Australian pop star Sia, a friend of the two, the singers currently have no plans for a duet. She said in a tweet : “Adam just texted me. Def no collab with xtina planned, although he said he would love to.”
The news undoubtedly comes as a disappointment for fans looking forward to the collaboration, but maybe it’ll be of at least some consolation that Adam Lambert is at the least interested in doing it. At least there’s some hope for it happening eventually, right?
