Chris Brown Says He And Rihanna ‘Just Having Fun’ As Dating Rumors Intensify

Chris Brown and Rihanna are again a hot item, but the R&B singer claims that he is just having fun with his ex-flame, not trying to re-live the past.

There have been a number of rumors in recent weeks putting the two back together. Much of this was fueled by Chris Brown himself, who appeared on The Tonight Show earlier this month wearing a necklace that matched one Rihanna wore.

Now Brown is opening up about his relationship with Rihanna, admitting that they are hanging out again, but denying any romantic involvement.

”We’re friends. Nothing too serious,” he said. “We’re not trying to start a life together right now, we’re just having fun.”

But sources close to the couple have claimed that they are indeed dating again, and they continue to share a complicated relationship.

“They have a bond and connection that’s so deep that no one can fully understand except them. That’s just a fact. He knows it. She knows it. Everybody knows it and that’s that. When it comes to Rihanna, you know, her name and his name will forever be intertwined, no matter who she’s talking to at any given moment,” a source told Hollywood Life .

Chris Brown denies that he’s hung up on Rihanna. He recently addressed rumors that his new song “Drunk Texting” is about Rihanna, saying he’s not trying to continually re-life the past.

“I don’t really try to put my focus on Rihanna every song,” he revealed.

“At the end of the day it’s almost six, seven years later. It’s like, how many more times am I going to talk about the same situation?”

Chris Brown may not be free to pursue a relationship with Rihanna anyway. Rumors indicate that his longtime girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, is pregnant. Rihanna is also rumored to be dating rapper Drake.
