Chris Brown may have surprised fans with the release of his latest single, “Party,” in addition to the song’s heavily choreographed music video, just one day ago, but it appears that Breezy is already less than impressed with the track’s chart performance after taking to Instagram Friday evening to rant about the lack of support the single is receiving on iTunes.

After nearly one week of promoting the release of his “Party” single on social media, Chris Brown took to Instagram at midnight on Friday to unveil his latest collaboration with Usher and Gucci Mane along with the song’s energetic music video, which has already garnered over 3 million views on Vevo in just 24 hours. Despite the single’s rapid success, which also includes a top-10 position on the iTunes “Top Songs” chart, Chris Brown took to Instagram yesterday to blast fans who continue to support his music through streaming platforms rather than purchasing the material directly from sites like Apple Music or Google Play.

“PARTY IS ON ITUNES!!! F*** STREAMS!!!” Chris Brown began in his Instagram rant, as captured in a screengrab by The Shade Room.

“I work harder then [sic] all these n***** Wit half y’all consumers afraid and bias a** opinions on me!! NAME ONE N**** OUT HERE DAT CAN eVEN DO HALFOF [sic] WHAT I CAN!!! IN MY KANYE VOICE!!!”

Brown then continued his rant by noting that fans should support his music because of his dedication to his artistry before hinting that fans are taking his music for granted, revealing, “Take ya head out y’all a** and support the only artist left with a vision and dedication to his fans. I Aint GONE KEEP BUSTING MY A** FOR IT TO BE TAKEN FOR GRANTED BY F***N***** IN SOCIETY! IM ON MY GORILLA S***!”

“I’m passionate about my s*** and you can name one n**** that directs his own s***/spend money on my projects out my pocket!!!” Breezy continued in his post before seemingly throwing shade at “non-lyrical rappers” in the industry. “Y’all better wake up following these non lyrical rappers and scared a** internet thugs! #NOMOREFAKES***. Put yo money where ya mouth is!!!! Simple as that!!! ( NO ARROGANCE, I JUST KNOW WHAT IM WORTH) you should to!”

It didn’t take long for fans to weigh-in with their thoughts on Chris Brown’s Instagram rant, with some fans taking to the comment section of the singer’s post to defend Chris’ position while others slammed the “Back To Sleep” singer for not being humble in his success.

“um, he’s definitely not the best artist out there. He’s ONE of the BEST but he’s not the ONLY one against many other phenomenal ones,” one user wrote in the comment section of Brown’s post while another fan adds, “I agree with most of what he said…but this isn’t his best record.”

Meanwhile, other fans remained focused on Brown’s “non-lyrical rappers” comment in his rant, with some fans alleging that Breezy may be taking shots at Drake given the rapper’s success on streaming services such as Spotify, where Drake recently became the first artist to ever hit 1 billion streams on the platform with his chart-topping single, “One Dance.”

“He’s still mad about the whole drake situation it seem like lmao,” one fan suggested in their comment on Brown’s Instagram post while another added, “Drake sold 850k+ on iTunes so idk why he’s acting like he needs streams.” Similarly, another fan explains, “Why is Chris worried about rappers when he’s a r&b singer, he’s jealous of drake’s success. Worry about your r&b competitors and leave the rappers alone, always finding means and ways to shade drake.”

Not long after his Instagram rant began appearing on several gossip sites on Instagram, Chris Brown took to his post to instruct fans to “roast” any commenters who continued to criticize the points made in the caption of his post, revealing, “All my fans, anyone on these comments on dat bs…Spam em and roast their non existence,” one Instagram user captured in a screengrab.

This isn’t the first time that Chris Brown was accused of taking subtle shots at Drake via Instagram; in September, Chris Brown took to Instagram to give praise to Lil Wayne amid rumors that the rapper may be retiring early from music, all while calling out “fake-a** rappers” in the caption of his Instagram post, XXL Mag reports. Not long after Breezy posted his tribute to Lil Wayne, Drake took to the social media site to weigh in with his thoughts on Lil Wayne’s alleged retirement while seemingly throwing shade back at Chris Brown for his “fake rappers” comment.

“The boss @liltunechi. We are fighting until you get yours. Freedom to drop music and peace of mind. I don’t know what these other weirdos are on with all the side talks but I know you gave me a shot and all I can ever do with the rest of my life is return the favor. YOUNG MONEY FOREVER,” Drake wrote in the caption of his Instagram post, as captured by Baller Alert.

After fans began tagging Chris Brown in the comment section of Drake’s post, the “Grass Ain’t Greener” singer took to the social media site to dispel rumors suggesting that he took aim at Drake in his own Instagram post, revealing, “Y’all comments be funny. Making an issue outta nothing. Everybody know I don’t have any issues @ing someone I had an issue wit. My post was for HIP HOP!!! This ain’t love and hip hop. *thumbs-up emoji* stay classy.”
