Producers for NBC’s mid-season debut, “Are You There, Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea,” a show partially based off the best-selling memoir of jokester Chelsea Handler , have reportedly already fired nearly half of the cast for “creative reasons.”
According to TVLine.com’s website, those cut include former White Collar co-star Natalie Morales, onetime ER nurse Angel Laketa Moore, and stand-up comic and Chelsea Lately mainstay Jo Koy.
As of now, the semi-autobiographical comedy series still will star Laura Prepon, a.k.a Donna from That 70’s Show , playing the role of sports bar employee Chelsea Hanson, Lenny Clarke (Rescue Me) as Chelsea’s father, and the vodka-loving late night talk show queen herself will have a cameo as Chelsea’s sister.
