Catherine Zeta-Jones Mini Dress Stuns As She Supports Grieving Michael Douglas With Mini-Me Children [Photos]

Catherine Zeta-Jones in a mini-dress stunned on the red carpet. Zeta-Jones made the appearance to provide support to husband Michael Douglas at the premiere of his new film Ant-Man. It was just a few days following the passing of Michael’s beloved mother, Diana, reported Hello.

Joining Zeta-Jones in that sparkling mini-dress and Douglas, who looked somewhat fragile after his loss, were 14-year-old Dylan and 12-year-old Carys. They rarely appear in public, but looked adorable as they stayed close to their 70-year-old father’s side, even grasping his hand. Michael plays the role of Hank Pym in Ant-Man.

Carys was a mini-me of her mother, from her dark curly hair to her fabulous frock, while Dylan resembled both parents. Although Michael made no comment about his loss, his red carpet appearance occurred three days after his mother died from cancer. She was 92.

Catherine honored her mother-in-law on social media.

“Diana we are so grateful to have had you in our lives. We will miss you everyday. Until we meet again… Love you very much.”

Although Douglas and Zeta-Jones separated in 2013, both have emphasized that they are now joyful in reuniting.

“If both of you are willing you know to do it,” reflected Michael. “It can’t be a one-way street, but I’m crazy about her and yeah, I think every couple has their difficult times. We’re back stronger than ever.”

Douglas’ comments about coming together after splitting occur as one of the most famous A-list couples, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, have split, as the Inquisitr reported.

Some of their fans are hopeful that they too might reunite one day, as Ben is currently staying in Jen’s guesthouse.

For Michael and Catherine, however, sorrow over his mother’s death has brought them even closer. Diana Douglas was Kirk Douglas’ first wife, reported the Hollywood Reporter.

Kirk and Diana were married from 1943 to 1951, and appeared in several movies together. Diana revealed that, because of their children, they sought to remain on civil terms.

“I’ve always enjoyed Kirk’s sense of humor, even when I was angriest at him,” said Michael’s mother. “He could always make me laugh, somehow, which annoyed the hell out of me. But then I think we both decided too, when the time of divorce came, that we had to maintain a certain amount of civility because of the children.”

For Douglas’ and Zeta-Jones’ children, however, life with famous parents has become increasingly better as they get older, reported USA Today.

The pre-teen and teenager decked themselves out in designer clothes for the premiere with Michael and Catherine. And even though Zeta-Jones stunned in that mini-dress, Dylan and Carys also attracted their fair share of attention.
