Carrie Underwood completes 12 years of her American Idol win. Since her win in 2005, she has emerged to be one of the most successful Idol winners ever. She has recently remembered the winning moment, as she shared a collage of her memorable moments from the 2005 finale. The post appeared soon after she talked about husband Mike Fisher’s dancing skills.

Carrie Underwood’s Instagram post about her famous American Idol win came with an interesting caption. The singer still seemed surprised about her win.

“12 years later and I’m still not sure how it all happened to me!” she wrote. “12 years ago today, my dreams came true and life has been a dream ever since! I am beyond blessed and so thankful!”

Her Instagram followers reacted positively to the post. One of them expressed his pride for Underwood “as a child of the One True King,” “unconditional loving wife,” and “nurturing mommy.”

Another follower remembered the American Idol season, which made Carrie Underwood an overnight star. According to her, Carrie sang like a winner during her audition itself. Another follower wrote that she was proud to be her fan. In addition to her singing, the fan was apparently obsessed with the dress she wore during the finale.

Many fans consider Carrie Underwood as the best American Idol winner ever. Since her win 12 years back, she has established a successful career in music. There is hardly any other Idol winner who can match her success. She has won seven Grammys, 10 Billboard Music Awards and 11American Music Awards. Highly acclaimed for her voice, many experts believe she can hit literally any note.

The “Dirty Laundry” singer is married to Canadian professional ice hockey player Mike Fisher. In another post, Carrie Underwood praised her husband’s dancing skills. However, the appreciation was not exactly because of the fact that he could dance. She shared a pic of her husband and kid and revealed what was going on in the pic.

“Dear ladies, Make sure you marry someone who makes time to do the “hot dog dance” with your kid right before leaving for work!”

While fans appreciated Mike acting like a great dad, one of them notices that their house looks like that of a “normal” person, who has a small child at home.

Other Instagram followers also found resemblance to Carrie Underwood’s house with theirs.

“So good to know that your house looks like mine-kid friendly!” one of them wrote.

Carrie Underwood’s husband Mike Fisher earlier discussed how being in a stable situation in Nashville allowed him and Carrie to start their family. He told E! News that his son was not yet aware of his dad’s profession. However, he hoped that his kid would grow up to be big hockey fan.
