The force is with her, actually Jenny Craig is with her, but in any case Carrie Fisher of Star Wars fame has shed an awesome 30 pounds since joining Jenny Craig as a spokesmodel in November.
Fisher famously donned a gold bikini when she starred as Princess Leia, becoming a sex icon for millions of male Star Wars fans, since that time she had gained quite a bit of weight.
In January Fisher said of her lifestyle:
“I’m fat. All the clothes in my closet belong to another chick. They have to make a new alphabet for my bra size,” while she went on to add, “If I lose 10 pounds, it’ll be a miracle. If I lose 30, my outside would match my inside.”
According to Carrie she packed on some of those pounds when her father, singer Eddie Fisher died in September 2010, turning to a diet that consisted largely of Haagen-Dazs ice cream.
