Calvin Harris Speaks The Truth About Split From Taylor Swift, Did Their Relationship Just Fizzle Out?

It has only been one day since news broke of the split of America’s favorite power couple. Calvin Harris seemed to be the perfect guy for Taylor Swift, at least in the many photos that everyone has seen. However, it has all ended and now the DJ has spoken out on social media with a short message about the breakup.

There have been so many rumors running rampant since yesterday on why Calvin broke it off with Taylor. Many so called “sources” have come out of the woodwork to spill on just why their relationship went sour. From the 32-year-old music producer being bored with Swift to him being intimidated by her huge career, there have been many speculations on what went wrong.

However, Calvin, whose real name is Adam, sent out a message on Twitter, as reported by ET. He let the world know that there is only one truth that anyone needs to know.

“The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end & what remains is a huge amount of love and respect.”

This definitely proves that they are no longer a couple. One thing that the sources did get right is that both Harris and Swift still care for each other even if it didn’t work out in the end. Their relationship may have fizzled for various reasons, but reports say that there was no drama between them.

Apparently, Calvin Harris is the one who initiated the breakup, which understandably upset Taylor. They both looked like they were in love from everything that has been seen in the media and the Instagram photos posted by the couple, but it sounds like their romance fizzled out. At least for Calvin it did.

“Taylor and Adam had no big blowout fight, but the romance just was not there anymore for them. Adam is the one that ended it. It was all done in a very mature fashion. Taylor is pretty upset but they are still in communication. Taylor’s heart was more in it than he was. He started to lose interest over the past few months, but really tried to not just break up.”

According to TMZ, Calvin was happier when their relationship was low-key and more private. Once they were seen publicly enjoying award shows and many other events that he was expected to go to with his girl, things started going downhill from there. He apparently became uncomfortable with all of the buzz surrounding them.

It was certainly a surprise to Taylor’s fans who were thrilled by their favorite singer’s year-long romance. Harris was accepted by the Swifties and they enjoyed finally seeing Taylor happy with a guy who treated her well. They eventually went very public with their relationship. There was even talk about possible wedding bells in the near future, but that is not going to happen now.

Even though the “Blank Space” singer has yet to speak out about the breakup, she did retweet the message that Calvin Harris posted right after he sent it out. Many are waiting to see if she does indeed make a statement soon, but she may just be waiting until she is a little less upset.

While she is trying to get over her broken heart, Swift does have her best friends to lean on. Not only does she have her girl squad to help her along, but she also has her longtime BFF, Abigail Anderson, that has her back. She also has her family, her kitty cats, and her thousands of fans to console her.

Of course, she always has her music that she seems to turn to when she breaks up with a guy. Taylor Swift is famously known for writing songs about her former relationships, so she may just sit down to write her feelings down and turn it into a new tune.

This breakup with Calvin Harris may just take a bit longer for Taylor Swift to get over, but she will bounce back and most likely be back to doing what she does best.
