When Burnout Crash! was announced nearly a week ago , EA pegged it down for a release date later this year – around autumn, to be specific. Apparently, they’ve had a change of heart about that date as it’s now due out in August.
In case you missed the announcement the first time around, here’s a primer: Burnout Crash! is the first digital title from Criterion, makers of such fine games as Burnout: Paradise and Need for Speed – otherwise known as ‘the good one’.
Rather than the camera being planted behind the car, Burnout Crash! is instead a top-down crash-fest of sorts that takes the fun of the Crash mode found in the older Burnout titles and crams it all into a top-down, downloadable title for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
