Honolulu-born singer and songwriter Bruno Mars has been living in the city of Los Angeles since he was 17 — he first moved to the city roughly 13 years ago — and is now, according to Variety, selling his $3 million home. The home has reportedly just been purchased by two Los Angeles residents who have pretty successful careers in showbusiness. Rob Cohen, creator of The Big Bang Theory, and Jill Leiderman, executive producer for Jimmy Kimmel Live, have bought the southern California estate for nearly $3.35 million.
Other celebrities who will be selling their homes include Charlie Sheen, who plans on selling two of his mansions in the Beverly Hills area. The actor, who recently revealed he is HIV positive, currently owns three homes in Beverly Hills. He will be selling a villa he purchased for $4.8 million in 2012 and a 9,020-square-foot house that he acquired in 2011 for $7 million. The former Malibu home of Tommy Lee Jones and Pamela Anderson is currently on the market for $4.6 million.
Bruno Mars recently co-wrote “All I Ask,” with Adele, a song that appears on her phenomenally successful album, 25. It is the fastest-selling album in the United Kingdom and the album sold 1.9 million copies at launch in America, selling over 3 million copies in its first week of release.

The song “Uptown Funk,” recorded by British producer Mark Ronson including vocals from Mars, quickly became a global success, spending 14 weeks at the number one spot on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. The song set multiple records, including a record for the highest number of streams in one week in America, obtaining 4.8 million streams. Earlier this November, Bruno Mars performed at the Shrine Auditorium in L.A. to celebrate T-Mobile’s launch of Un-Carrier X. Performances that night included Lil Jon, DJ Vice and Zedd, along with Mars who was the last to perform.
Bruno Mars has sold over 100 million albums and singles across the world.
