Brooke Burke and David Charvet were married during a private, intimate ceremony on Friday. The Dancing with the Stars host married the former Baywatch actor and then announced their union on Twitter .
Burke tweeted on Sunday morning:
“Sending my 1st good morning tweet as Mrs. Charvet…Its true, we finally did it with love and certainty. OMG, I am a married woman!!!”
Brooke then tweeted:
“Sorry to be so secretive, but we REALLY needed a private moment just for us for all the right reasons. Love you guys xoxo”
It’s being reported that the couple married on a private yacht under the stars.
The couple had been engaged since 2006, although it wasn’t until last year that Brooke said on her blog that marriage talk was heating up for the couple. She wrote at that time:
“David and I have been talking marriage lately,” while adding, “We are just at that place, where love is deep and meaningful, and we are feeling very settled.”
The couple have been living the married life for years and have two children together, Rain, 4, and Shaya who is three-years-old.
Burke has two children with former plastic surgeon husband Barth Fisher, Sierra, 9 and 11-year-old Neriah.
Congratulations to the happy couple, it may have taken them more than five-years to finally tie the not, but at least they know they already live well together and can have a happy family, there should be very few unexpected surprises for Brooke Burke and that’s saying a lot in Hollywood these days.
