Blue Bloods actress Bridget Moynahan posted a congratulatory tweet after her ex, Tom Brady, secured a victory over the Deflategate scandal that has been the center of sports news since early this year.

Deflategate, also called Ballghazi, is a controversy surrounding tampering of footballs during the American Football Conference Championship. Tom Brady, quarterback for the New England Patriots, became the center of the scandal for allegedly having a part in the tampering of the footballs. On May 11, it was announced that Brady was to be suspended for four games in the 2015 regular season as a consequence for the allegations.

Tom Brady appealed the suspension, and the case was brought to federal court. As People reported a few days ago, Tom Brady was victorious when a judge overturned his suspension. According to the ruling, Brady was “premised upon several legal deficiencies.”

Amidst the Deflategate scandal, Tom Brady maintained his innocence. With the suspension junked, Brady will now be able to play on the field when the New England Patriots go against the Pittsburgh Steelers on September 10.

The win was a good moment for Tom Brady, and one of the people who showed excitement was his ex, Bridget Moynahan. On September 4, Moynahan posted a tweet regarding Tom Brady’s win.

It’s no surprise that Moynahan still supports Tom Brady, despite them not being in a relationship anymore. The two were together from 2004 to 2006, and they also share a son, John, who is eight years old. Moynahan and Brady share custody of John. After breaking up with Moynahan, Tom Brady dated supermodel Gisele Bundchen, now his wife of five years. Brady has two other children with Bundchen, Benjamin, 5, and Vivian, 2.

Gisele Bundchen has yet to comment about her husband’s court win, at least on social media. However, days after Brady’s suspension was tossed, Gisele took to Instagram to post a picture of her husband playing ball with their daughter.

For the past weeks, there have been rumors surrounding Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady’s relationship. Rumors say that Tom is too focused on football and Gisele is too controlling, and their relationship could end in divorce soon.

However, Tom dispelled the rumors in an interview and said that he and Gisele are “in a great place,” as E Online reported.

“There’s no bigger supporter I have than her.”
