Bobby Brown is finding joy by giving a baby shower for his wife Alicia Etheredge despite the fact that his 22-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown remains hospitalized and unresponsive. The couple celebrated the baby bump with 60 of their nearest and dearest friends and family, reported the Daily Mail .
As to whether it’s a boy or a girl? It’s a secret for now, said Bobby and Alicia, whose 5-year-old son Cassius also attended the pregnancy party.
Brown already has five children. In addition to Bobbi Kristina and Cassius, they include 21-year-old Bobby Jr., 25-year-old LaPrincia, and 26-year-old Landon.
But what does the future hold for Bobbi Kristina, who has been reported to have irreversible brain damage?
As the Inquisitr reported, Bobbi Kristina has survived only through life support measures since Jan. 31, when she was discovered unconscious in a bathtub in her home.
Although Bobby Brown initially was responsible for making her medical decisions, Pat Houston (who is Whitney Houston’s sister-in-law) recently became co-guardian, which means that she and Bobby share the decision-making for the unconscious young woman.
And Cissy Houston, who is Bobbi Kristina’s grandmother, is candid about the lack of progress.
“She’s the same, she’s not progressing at all. Whatever the Lord decides, I’m ready for her… I have nothing to do with that. That’s His job. It’s His territory, you know? And I understand it.”
But Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend Nick Gordon, who shared the home in which she was found, says that he believes that if Bobby Brown will allow him to visit her hospital room, he could somehow reach her. And so he’s pleading for access to Bobbi Kristina , reported People .
“Despite his strong desire to see Bobbi Kristina, Nick has respected the families’ wishes for over three months and has refrained from visiting or from pursuing access to her through the courts,” said attorney Randy Kessler, who represents Gordon.
“He has asked through counsel many times privately and now asks both the Browns and the Houstons, please let him see her.”
But Brown has not given any indication that he will allow Gordon to visit her. And now a new report indicates that Nick and Bobbi Kristina were having relationship problems before January 31, according to Radar Online .
Bobbi Kristina had a friend who was also her neighbor. Debra Reis Brooks is now revealing that prior to the young woman’s health crisis, she was intimate with another man, and that Nick was so jealous that he could not control his anger.
The fight between Bobbi Kristina and Nick occurred on January 30, and she was discovered unconscious the next day.
“[They] had a fight at 12:30 a.m….Nick and Max [Lomas] left and went out — that’s supposedly when this other guy came over to Krissi’s,” said Debra. “There was some discussion of some guy who came over and [he and Bobbi Kristina] fooled around — that’s what Nick said!”
As the Inquisitr reported, Nick Gordon recently spent time in rehab after an intervention by Dr. Phil. He has since left the rehab facility.
