Remember how the clapper revolutionized the lazy industry? Well, the new version of that technology is upon us, and, as expected, it is far more interactive. Known simply as Bluetooth Bulb, the LED based device utilized Bluetooth 4.0 and a mobile device in order to control your homes lighting.
Simply plug in the Bluetooth Bulb to your light outlet and then sync as many devices as you want with the light. Once synced, you can turn on and off the lighting and even dim the bulb for mood lighting.
With the Bluetooth Bulb RGB edition, your smartphone or tablet can even allow for color changing between different light colors. Simply touch the color you wish to light with, and the bulb takes care of the rest. Users can even select multiple colors at one time to create new unlimited combinations for different ambiance.
The Bluetooth Bulb also allows users to control various different lights around their home on one mobile device : Simply be within bluetooth range (30 feet should do the trick), and you are the master of your own domain. Since multiple users can control the same lights with different devices, the home truly becomes an interactive experience.
If that is not enough for you to get excited for the bulb, every single part on the device is replaceable, which means any premium cost will likely be associated only with replacing the bulb and not the entire unit, which will likely come with a premium cost.
Unfortunately the bulb is still in patented prototype stages right now, but, given the rapid movement of tech products, we might soon see this bulb become a reality. In the meantime, the Bluetooth Bulb sounds like the perfect invention to feature on Kickstarter.
