Women only blog advertising network BlogHer has raised $7 million Series C in a round that included existing investors Venrock and Peacock Equity, and new investor Azure Capital.
In an interview with Kara Swisher at AllThingsD , BlogHer CEO Lisa Stone said the new round would be used to improve tools offered to members, research, and advertising technology.
BlogHer has 30 employees, and reaches over 14 million unique visitors a month across 2,500 blogs. The company also runs an annual Womens blogging conference.
The new round takes total funding for BlogHer to $15.5 million.
