It seems that Best Buy and GameStop have gotten a bit ahead of Warner Bros. Interactive ‘s press cycle by shamelessly displaying Batman: Arkham City ‘s as-of-yet-officially-announced collector’s edition over on their respective websites.
According to Best Buy’s listing, the Batman: Arkham City collector’s edition comes packaged in with a premium statue produced by Kotobukiya, an illustrated art book, early access to DLC, and some form of Batman -related “animated material”.
Comic Con is just around the corner, so expect more ‘official’ news to come out around July 21-24.
Batman: Arkham City is due out on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on October 18 in North America, October 21 in Europe.
