Bella Hadid And The Weeknd: Model’s Boyfriend Supports Her During Dior Cruise Fashion Show

Bella Hadid was supported by her boyfriend, The Weeknd, during a recent Dior fashion show.

Following Bella Hadid’s exciting news about becoming the new ambassador and face of Dior makeup, her singer beau was spotted in the front row as she walked the runway for the iconic fashion brand.

On June 1, Elle UK shared photos of The Weeknd sporting aviator shades and a casual jacket at he and several other famous faces, including Gemma Arterton, Emma Roberts, Elizabeth Olsen, Alexa Chung, and Kate Beckinsale, took in the Dior Cruise event at the Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, England.

Bella Hadid, 19, and The Weeknd, 26, began dating about one year ago, and in the months since, they have been completely supportive of one another’s careers.

“[Bella Hadid] is head over heels for Abel (The Weeknd’s real name), she’s so proud to be with him,” an insider revealed to Hollywood Life last September. “She thinks he’s the most talented guy on the planet and the sexiest. They have a pretty wild time together, it’s everything you’d expect from listening to his songs.”

Bella Hadid and The Weeknd kept their romance on the down-low for the first few months, but by the end of 2015, they had been spotted together several times, and often mentioned one another on social media. However, by December, rumors claimed Bella Hadid and The Weeknd had split due to their busy schedules.

“[Bella Hadid] and The Weeknd have taken a break,” a source told E! News at the time. “Their schedules got very busy and it really cut into there relationship. They are still in each other’s lives though, just not in the same exclusive capacity.”

Shortly after the report was shared, Bella Hadid and The Weeknd surfaced in a video clip, and weeks after that, they were tied to reports of a possible engagement after the model was spotted with a stunning ring on her left hand while out in London.

“[Bella Hadid] and Abel have decided to take the next step in their romance and move in with one another,” a source revealed to Hollywood Life in February, shortly after Bella Hadid was photographed with the ring. “Over the last few months their relationship has really progressed, and she has particularly been happy with how supportive he’s been with her mom Yolanda.”

In addition to receiving tweets and Instagram posts of support from Bella Hadid’s older sister, Gigi, her mother, Yolanda Foster, of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, has often mentioned The Weeknd online and expressed her approval in Bella Hadid’s romance with the singer.

“They’re so loved up they’ve even discussed the idea of marriage, having kids and growing old together,” the source continued. “Abel just really gets Bella, they trust each other and have such a positive spin on life together. Their friends already joke they are like a married couple.”

As for the mysterious ring Bella Hadid was seen wearing, she doesn’t appear to have worn it since, which likely suggests she and The Weeknd aren’t engaged quite yet.

On May 31, Bella Hadid officially announced her new gig with Dior on Instagram.

Along with a modeling photo of herself, Bella Hadid told fans, “So beyond excited to announce that I am the new ambassador and face for @DiorMakeup!!! What a dream come true. Can’t wait for the show today at Blenheim Palace @dior #happiness #cruise.”
