If you were disappointed by the relatively tame level of destruction seen in Battlefield 3 ‘s mutliplayer maps, the Back to Karkand map pack looks to be right up your alley.
EA and DICE sent out a video today that shows us a good amount of new gameplay from the Strike of Karkand map pack, including some footage of a few of the new guns you’ll be using, and the aforementioned ramped up level of destruction.
Compared to the standard Battlefield 3 maps, you can definitely tell from the video that DICE wasn’t fooling around when they said much more of the map would be destructible in the re-imagining of the classic Battlefield maps.
Battlefield 3 ‘s Back to Karkand map pack is due out in December on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. PlayStation 3 owners will get it a week earlier as part of a timed exclusivity deal between Sony and EA.
