Corey Simms and his wife, Miranda, spent the weekend with his daughters, Ali and Aleeah, as their mother, Teen Mom 2 Leah Messer, reportedly received treatment for her alleged addiction to prescription pills. On Saturday, May 9, Messer’s Facebook page shared photos of the twins with Miranda in the background.
The following day, the same page shared a picture of Messer’s youngest daughter, Adalynn Faith, whose father is Messer’s current husband, Jeremy Calvert.
Because this weekend was Mother’s Day, one would assume it would be Messer, not Corey Simms, who was with the girls. At least that’s what one would assume if Messer wasn’t in rehab, as she’s reported to be.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Messer targeted Corey Simms’ marriage in an elaborate Facebook rant , which she shared with fans in December of last year. According to a Radar Online report, below is what Messer had to say .
“Things you see on Corey and Mirandas ‘official and APPROVED page’ is far from being true, and all I have to say about it is that they may want to be very WISE about what they post because a marriage that PRETENDS to be PERFECT is NEVER perfect, especially when there is way more not told to a specific spouse, and thats all im going to say.”
At the time of her rant, Messer didn’t appear to have any solid evidence against Corey Simms, or Miranda, but made it sound to fans that their marriage was not only perfect, but that they may also be keeping secrets from one another. Messer also spoke briefly about her and Corey Simms’ custody battle, which took place that same month.
“As far as the status on our court hearing…. I am very happy with the results and will talk about it very soon. I think the results were in my daughters BEST interest. This is all im going to say in regards to all the craziness being post on their page as well as any other page.”
A short time after Messer shared the shocking rant with fans, Corey Simms’ wife took to Twitter, where she revealed the page in question didn’t belong to her, or to Corey Simms.
“Too bad that fan page is not official or approved by anyone in our family. We have no idea who runs it….”
Corey Simms will be seen alongside Messer and Miranda when Teen Mom 2 returns for a sixth season on MTV on July 9 at 10 p.m.
