Apple fans, it’s time to skip work, gather all your remaining money, and buy the iPad Pro. The long-awaited tablet, along with other future 2015 releases, is listed at a German retailer’s site. BGR explains what may be a huge publicity stunt .
“A German retailer has apparently already listed various unreleased 2015 iOS products in its online lineup, even though Apple has yet to announce any of them. That’s likely a mistake considering that Apple’s new iPhone and iPad launches are months away — either that, or it’s a publicity stunt to attract attention.”
BGR notes that the Apple items listed, including the iPad Pro, are listed under names that may not be the names of the final products. For example, the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus may actually become the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Well, at least the German site got everybody’s attention. What’s next, a Portuguese site selling the new Surface Pro 4?
This should only wet one’s appetite further for the iPad Pro, which will be quite the device according to Phone Arena .
“Leaked images showing 3D renders of a case for the rumored Apple iPad Pro/Plus confirm speculation that the large-sized slate will carry four speakers. The case has four cutouts that would align with the tablet’s speakers. Two are placed at the top and two at the bottom of the device. Earlier this year, a photograph allegedly showing the casing for the tablet also had four areas cut out for the speakers.”
Tech Radar repeats the information about the speakers, but also says the iPad Pro may not go into production until September.
“The iPad Pro will race out of the traps in the second half of the year, if a report by Bloomberg is to be believed. According to sources in the know, the 12.9-inch tablet will enter production in September, which would make a release before the end of 2015 unlikely.”
The iPad Pro, which some say will run a specialized version of OS X, will be competing heavily with Microsoft’s upcoming Surface Pro 4. The Surface Pro 3 has already changed the game in the tablet industry, whereas Apple’s iPad Air 2 hasn’t sold as well as people expected. Many think that instead of wanting just a tablet, people want a tablet that can also be a laptop replacement. Microsoft understand this and let’s hope Apple will with the upcoming iPad Pro.
