Anna Faris and Chris Pratt want kids some day – and lots of them. However, the 34-year-old Faris and husband Pratt will have to wait, as they’re currently too busy with their careers. According to Faris, that’s an agenda both performers are happy with.
“We would love to have kids someday,” she revealed to People . “We want a family for sure. Chris wants a big family.” The star of Scary Movie went on to insist, “It’s timing. It’s so hard in this industry.”
Faris’s desire for kids came out while promoting What’s Your Number? , her new romcom in which Faris’s character tries to find a partner from the twenty men she has previously slept with. Yet the actress isn’t quite that prolific in the bedroom. In fact, she can count her lovers before she tied the knot with Pratt on one hand: “Don’t you think five is kind of low? I’m 34,” she said.
This, explained Faris, could be down to confidence, or at least a lack of it: “I’m not a very good lover. I’m so nervous about my sexuality.”
The actress married the 32-year-old Pratt, who plays Andy in NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation , in 2009. Their marriage came after they had dated for a year . Pratt is Faris’s second husband, after her marriage to actor Ben Indra ended in April 2007 with the actress citing irreconcilable differences.
Faris is currently lined up to appear alongside Sacha Baron Cohen in The Dictator .
