It’s only been about two months since Anna Chlumsky had her baby girl Penelope Joan but you couldn’t tell tonight at the Emmy Awards. The My Girl actress looked stunning as she walked the red carpet in an emerald gown.
The Huffington Post reports that the dress was designed by Badgley Mischka.
Chlumsky is known by many as the cute little girl in the movie My Girl but the actress is starting to make a new name for herself. Anna earned her first Emmy nomination this year for her role on the HBO show VEEP.
The 32-year-old actress said that she found out about her nomination while she was breastfeeding her daughter.
Chlumsky said : “It was neat because it was me and my husband and my daughter all in the room getting the [Emmy] news at the same time… When [my manager] told me, it was that nervous, happy, appreciative laughter. I just laughed a lot! It feels really great to have your work noticed.”
Chlumsky didn’t win at the Emmy Awards tonight ( she was beat by Merritt Wever ) but the HBO show VEEP didn’t go home empty handed. Co-stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Tony Hale both won Emmy Awards tonight.
