The premiere of Season 2 on September 23, 2015, brought in seven million viewers. Amber Rose was excited to share news of her acting debut on her social media to all of her diehard fans. But while this is Amber Rose’s first official acting role, the fashion designer and author has had plenty of practice in front of a camera. Aside from the modeling, she has appeared in the music video for her ex, Wiz Khalifa’s “No Sleep,” as well as Ludacris’ “What Them Girls Like,” Nicki Minaj’s “Massive Attack,” Young Jeezy’s “Vacation,” and Fabolous’ “You Be Killin’ Em.”
“Kanye’s infamous ex, Wiz Khalifa’s baby mama, America’s toughest bald babe since Sigourney Weaver in Alien 3, is about to publish a book of life lessons called How to Be a Bad B*tch. Like Amber herself, it’s all heart. Unlike Amber, it’s not that thick! The teen stripper turned megalomaniac muse spoke to Carrie Battan about her beautiful dark twisted journey to the top.”
Not surprisingly, Amber Rose was none too pleased how she was being portrayed in that introduction. She took to her Instagram account to fire back at the magazine and let them know that what they did was completely disrespectful.
“I talked about feminism and my Slutwalk… Wtf nice title smh I expected so much more from u guys and I’m so disappointed. I was so excited to be featured in GQ not realizing I was shooting for a tabloid.”
Amber Rose has been dealing with insulting remarks such as this for a while now, but she’s made it clear that she refuses to let any naysayers slow her down.
Black-ish airs Wednesdays at 9:30 p.m. on ABC.
