Amanda Bynes was sentenced to three years of probation today after she was arrested last year for driving with a suspended license.
Bynes plead no contest on earlier this week and has now been sentenced to three years probation . The actress was also given a $300 fine for driving without a valid license .
The former Nickelodeon star had her license suspended after she was involved in several hit and run incidents last year. She also clipped a cop car in 2012 while she was reportedly driving under the influence .
The DUI case is still pending and Bynes denies that she was drinking at the time of the incident. ( She also asked President Obama to have the case dismissed .)
Bynes said:
“I am doing amazing … I am retired as an actor. I am moving to New York to launch my career. I am going to do a fashion line. I am not talking about being arrested for DUI because I don’t drink, and I don’t drink and drive. It is all false.”
Bynes has been in the headlines recently for a series of bizarre tweets and hairstyles. The actress recently had a nose job, shaved her head, and posed topless on Twitter.
