It’s almost impossible to believe that Little People Big World premiered more than a decade ago, in March 2006. And while many things have changed over the years, many more stayed the same.
Nevertheless, there are some episodes that stand out more than others, and others more that created classic moments. Let’s take a look back at just a few of the many awesome moments from Little People Big World over the years.
Little People Big World Classic Moment #1: Jacob Roloff Slams The Producers
When Jacob Roloff, the young member of the Roloff clan, decided he was going to leave the nest, the stars of Little People Big World were nothing if not concerned. After all, according to Us Weekly , he was barely 18 years old. But one of the things that made this a classic moment was the fact that, almost as soon as he got his independence, Jacob began slamming the show’s producers for their insistence on “fake” storylines.
“More difficult news rocked the family when their son Jacob, 20, decided to leave the nest and the series when he turned 18 in 2015. Jacob would go on to slam show producers for creating “fake” story lines and producing “characters” that he felt were loosely based on reality. Jacob now spends his time traveling the country and he is the star of his own video blog.”

Little People Big World Classic Moment #2: Amy Roloff Talks About The “Average Sized Man” That’s Interested In Her
When Matt and Amy Roloff divorced, the future of Little People Big World was called into question. After all, they were the foundation of the show and the Roloff family. But amazingly, according to People Magazine , it seemed like the show almost got better when they divorced, especially when they began dating other people.
For Amy’s part, she found love with a new man, and she was impressed that he was “ average sized ” as opposed to a little person!
“I just never thought someone who is average size would be interested in me,” she admits. “I just really want him to never question or doubt the relationship because I’m a little person. I just have a good time. I have fun with him. I never thought I’d be dating as a grandma, and it’s nice to experience that and be with someone.”

Little People Big World Classic Moment #3: Zach and Tori Roloff’s Baby Shower
The final classic Little People Big World classic moment comes to us courtesy of Zach and Tori Roloff, where, according to a different report from People Magazine , Zach was confused about what to do at Tori’s baby shower.
“The baby showers I have been to, the dads always show up to just to say, ‘Hey, Dad’s here too — not just Mom, ‘” she reiterates to Zach before taking a contemplative pause. “Isn’t that weird, ‘Mom’ and ‘Dad’?” “Do you know what I said today?” responds Zach, who, like his son, was born with achondroplasia, the most common form of dwarfism. ” ‘My son’.”
Seems like he figured it all out!
