How Jennifer Lawrence can consider herself obese is beyond us . The Hunger Games actress showed off her sexy figure in a bikini while on vacation in Hawaii, and we think she looks fantastic.
The 22-year-old showed off her toned and tanned body while on vacation with family in Maui, Hawaii, on November 21. The actress is in town shooting additional scenes for Catching Fire , the second installment in the immensely popular Hunger Games series, and took some time off to catch some sun.
The Academy Award-nominee said that she also planned to spend Thanksgiving with family before shooting resumes. “My dad won’t have a deep fryer, so I don’t know what he’s going to do,” she told E! News .
In a recent interview with Elle magazine, Lawrence said “In Hollywood, I’m obese. I’m considered a fat actress,” joking “I’m Val Kilmer in that one picture on the beach.”
Despite this self-perception, Lawrence said that she has no intention of starving herself to fit the Hollywood image.
“I eat like a caveman,” she said. “I’ll be the only actress who doesn’t have anorexia rumors. I’m never going to starve myself for a part. I keep waiting for that one role to come along that scares me enough into dieting, and it just can’t happen. I’m invincible.”
She also told Glamour earlier this year:
“I hate saying, ‘I like exercising.’ I want to punch people who say that in the face,” Lawrence said. “But it’s nice being in shape for a movie, because they basically do it all for you. It’s like, ‘Here’s your trainer. This is what you can eat.’”
“I don’t diet,” she clarified. “I do exercise! But I don’t diet. You can’t work when you’re hungry, you know?”
