Teen Wolf star Crystal Reed recently discussed the show’s latest shocking development.

Crystal Reed, who plays Allison Argent on Teen Wolf , recently sat down with the folks at Entertainment Weekly to discuss what happened to her character on the March 17 episode. In short: Argent died in the arms of Scott , someone she referred to as her “first love.”
Before you start fuming at Teen Wolf producers for kicking Reed off the show, the actress told the outlet that she decided to bid farewell to the series. Reed explained that she’s extremely grateful for the boost the show gave her career.

“It’s given me such a platform to be a role model, to be seen, to be heard and, actually, from the beginning, I’ve grown into a woman from the show — from beginning to end — and I think that was the biggest motivating factor for me to leave. I feel that there’s nothing more that I can give to this character,” she explained to EW .
The Teen Wolf alum added, “I think the age difference was something I wanted to change as well because she’s 17.” This is certainly understandable given that Reed is 29-years-old.
