Zayn Malik and the One Direction fellas are working hard on their next studio album. However, one of the guys isn’t contributing as much as the others.
In case you haven’t heard, the singers are presently hard at work on their fourth record. Although Zayn Malik and his pals are busy hitting the studio with a handful of noteworthy talent, Harry Styles is strangely MIA. Not surprisingly, some people wonder if he’s slowly but surely distancing himself from the group.
According to the folks over at Unreality TV , Zayn Malik recently worked with Emeli Sande and Naughty Boy in the studio, while Niall Horan spent some quality time with McFly. Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson decided to seek some assistance from Good Charlotte, an occasion they marked with a group photo.

Although Harry Styles recently headed to a studio in Los Angeles to do some work with Kodaline, he decided not to join the guys during a group collaboration. Zayn Malik and the other One Direction singers were on-hand for a meeting with Fall Out Boy, Styles was strangely absent.

If Styles isn’t hanging with Zayn Malik and the boys, then where in the world is he? According to the International Business Times , Harry recently joined forces with singer-songwriter John Legend to pen material for a possible solo album.
“We got together for a few hours and wrote what I think is a really lovely song. I’d love to write with him again as he is a very great guy and very talented. He has some really great lyrical ideas and is a very good songwriter,” Legend recently explained.
The Daily Star also had something to say about the guy’s absence. According to the website, Zayn Malik and the fellas are a little concerned that Styles’ head isn’t completely in the game these days.
“The boys want reassurances from Harry that he’s in the group for the long haul. They won’t let him just use them for his own career ambitions. They want to know what’s really going on,” an anonymous insider recently dished.
