Christina Aguilera showed off a slim figure and some leg at the American Music Awards.
Although plenty of celebrities were in attendance at the event, a lot of people seemed to focus on The Voice judge and her sleek white outfit. E! Online reports that the singer arrived at the Nokia Theatre wearing a Maria Lucia Hohan dress and Christian Louboutin heels.
The singer’s stylist Simone Harouche was apparently quite impressed with the way Christina Aguilera looked on the red carpet at the American Music Awards. She expressed as much in a recent tweet.
“My girl killed it!” she wrote .
According to the folks at Zap2It , someone at the AMAs apparently mistook Aguilera for Lady Gaga at one point. The website reports that while both singers sported blondish hair at the event, Mother Monster wore a lavender Grecian gown. In other words, they didn’t look too much alike.
Despite Lady Gaga’s elaborate man-horse and Christina Aguilera’s weight loss, apparently the singers weren’t the ones who stole the spotlight at Sunday evening’s event. The International Business Times reports that Taylor Swift looked simply radiant when she stepped on the red carpet.
Swift, who took home no less than four trophies at this year’s American Music Awards, sported a tight-fitting metallic dress from Julian McDonald. Thanks to her recent hike through the Hollywood Hills with her best friend , the singer was in top shape to slip into the outfit.
Although she didn’t wear a bra to the awards ceremony, most people seemed to think that Miley Cyrus kept her appearance toned down. The folks at Fox News believe that the “Wrecking Ball” singer was completely upstaged by her older sister Brandi.
