Garth Brooks is ready to give his longtime fans some new music.

The iconic country music singer will release the box set Blame It All On My Roots on November 28. If you’re interested in snagging a copy of the collection, then you’ll have to make a trip to either Walmart or Sam’s Club. The set is exclusive to these retailers.

According to USA Today , Garth Brooks’ latest musical endeavor contains a whopping eight CDs and two DVDs stuffed with all sorts of nifty material. Although you’d expect this collection to cost a very pretty penny, the suggested retail price of Blame It All On My Roots is a surprisingly affordable $24.96.

Four of the CDs in the collection contain 44 songs from the blues, country, and classic rock genres. As the title suggests, these tunes helped inspire the singer to become the legend he is today. The songs are reportedly the same as the ones he performed during his residency at the Wynn Resort in Las Vegas.

The other two CDs contain 33 tunes from Brooks’ The Ultimate Hits collection as well as a new ditty entitled Leave a Light On . Fans are definitely getting a very good bang for their buck.

The Los Angeles Times explains that one of the DVDs contained in Blame It All On My Roots features all of the music videos for the songs featured on the Hits collection. The other DVD contains a live performance from one of his shows in Las Vegas.

One day after the box set hits retail shelves, Garth Brooks will perform his final show at Wynn Resort. However, you won’t need a ticket to check out the country music legend’s show. CBS will broadcast the performance live for his fans across the country.

Although original reports suggested that the Billboard 200 Album charts wouldn’t recognize the set because it was released by a single retailer, apparently that was incorrect. Additionally, one sale will count as eight individual sales RIAA. In other words, one million sales will register as eight million.

This isn’t the first time Garth Brooks and the folks at Walmart teamed up for an exclusive release. The singer joined forces with the retailer to release the song “More Than a Memory” seven years ago. The tune quickly shot to the top of the Hot Country Songs chart.

Are you planning to pick up Garth Brooks’ Blame It All On My Roots later this month?
