Ashlee Simpson just welcomed a new baby into her life! Ashlee, who is Jessica Simpson’s sister, and actor-husband Evan Ross, are celebrating the birth of their baby girl , reported People .
Born July 30, the daughter of two celebrity parents has not yet had her name revealed.
Ashlee, 30, and Evan, 26, had shared that they knew they were having a girl previously. Big sister Simpson gave the baby shower last month.
“Daddy @realevanross and my brother @rossnaess. It was an amazing night. #babyshower,” wrote Ashlee on social media.
Ashlee has a son, Bronx Mowgli, who is almost 7-years-old, but this is Simpson’s first baby with Evan.
“I think that no matter what, with every child it’s different. It feels new to me too, and it’s been six years, so I’m like, ‘Here we go! We gotta learn how to get the swaddle on again!’ ” shared the singer and actress.
As for Ross’ role in their marriage, Evan provided everything from cooking amazing meals to giving his pregnant wife fabulous massages. In addition, Ross made sure to take time for dad-son bonding with Bronx.
“It’s amazing. I can’t even tell you how incredible that child is — he’s unbelievable!” boasted the proud parent. “He’s been a blessing in my life and I’ve learned so much from him.”
In addition to getting massages and home-cooked meals from Evan, Ashlee took time for prenatal workouts. Simpson made sure that she kept fit while protecting her baby bump, reported E News .
Ashlee worked out two to three times a week by taking Cardio Barre exercises classes.
And all those workouts combined with support from her family helped as Simpson gave birth to her baby.
“Their whole family was around to support them,” said an insider. “Evan was very emotional and loves Ashlee so much. He did not leave her side and wanted to go through this with her every step of the way. He can’t wait to be a dad. He would do anything for Ashlee and now this baby girl. Ashlee is doing great and can’t wait to get home to to be with her family.”

Simpson also previously revealed how Bronx, whose father is her ex-husband Pete Wentz, reacted to the news about the baby.
“He’s excited. He’s so excited. He’s excited that it’s a girl. He thinks it’s cute—the tea parties—she’ll be adorable.”
As the Inquisitr reported, when Jessica gave Ashlee that shower, the Simpson sisters had something extra special to celebrate in addition to the baby bump. Their mother Tina is engaged.
