Nicki Minaj’s sudden turn to MAGA has now brought her closer to President Donald Trump. While the singer has been criticized for her political choices, she remains unfazed and continues to make public appearances with Trump.
One such recent appearance included her attending the Trump Accounts Summit, where she was called on stage by the president as he announced his newest initiative, Trump Accounts, which grants newborns born between 2025 and 2028 a bank account with $1,000, as Irish Star reported.
As Minaj went on stage, she held Trump’s hands, and one comment by the president about her signature long nails has netizens speculating that she might end up being blamed for the very visible bruises on Trump’s hands. Referring to Minaj’s nails, Trump said, “I said I am going to let my nails grow because I love those nails. I am going to let those nails grow.”

Interestingly, as the duo was seen holding hands, Trump’s hand appeared to be shining from makeup. Trump had previously spotted with bruised and battered hands, which had given rise to concerns about his health. While, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt had brushed those concerns aside, Trump had blamed the bruises on his hands on women.
One time, he had blamed Attorney General Pam Bondi for a “slice” on his hands. Now, with Minaj’s long nails being so dangerously close to the President’s hands, netizens are speculating that he might blame her for any spot that appears on his hands from now on.
Taking to X, one user claimed, “He’s gonna blame Nicki Minaj for the next massive hand bruise, isn’t he.” Another one added, “Here we go blaming Nicki again.” A third user chimed in about Minaj’s nails, saying, “my brain’s first instinct was to treat Nicki’s fingernails as some sort of bizarre colored IV contraption.”
Minaj’s turning into MAGA has been a constant point of discussion, and some of the comments focused on that. One user commented, “People just need to accept that she’s not doing this for a pardon for her husband or brother or whatever reason they’ve made up. This is who she truly is. I know she feels some relief that she’s now free and doesn’t have to hide her true self anymore.”

Minaj has also gotten close to Erika Kirk, the late Charlie Kirk’s wife, and has made it clear that her support for President Trump and his administration is something permanent. She also claimed that she is “the president’s number one fan” and emphasized that despite fierce criticism, her stance is going to remain the same.
Talking about the hate she is getting for supporting Trump, Minaj said, “And the hate or what people have to say it does not affect me. It actually motivates me to support him more, and it’s going to support all of us to support him more. We’re not going to let them get away with bullying him, and you know, the smear campaigns. He has a lot of force behind him and God is protecting him. Amen.”
While Minaj’s admiration for Trump is going off the charts, it would be interesting to see if netizens’ theory about Trump blaming her for the bruises on his hands come true or if he spares her because of her unrelenting loyalty towards him.
