If you’ve ever wanted to experience the taste of both Pepsi and Cheetos in one unique bite, then you might want to start planning your trip to Japan right now.

In a bid to put your taste buds to the ultimate test, Frito Lay has unveiled a new flavor that is currently exclusive to the country. The company recently unleashed the Cheetos x Pepsi Shuwa Shuwa Cola Corn Snack upon the iron-stomached masses.

In order to infuse the iconic Pepsi flavor onto the Cheetos, the company has coated their product with cola powder. When someone decides to stuff a handful of the snack into their hungry mouths, they are assaulted with a “popping and crackling” sensation . Pop Rocks immediately spring to mind.

How does the snack taste? The Impulsive Buy explained:

In these snacks the cheese powder has been replaced with a cola powder that is disturbingly not brown. The first sensation, which I did not expect, was a very acidic bite. It’s very citrusy, almost sour. And it hits hard. It tries to capture the citrus notes of Pepsi, but it’s over the top. Too lemony. The sweeter cola flavor is there but it’s subtler and overpowered by the intense citrus.

While the Pepsi-flavored Cheetos might seem a little outrageous to snackers living in the US, apparently Japan likes to have a wide variety of tastes at their disposable at any given time. Death and Taxes points out that the country has enjoyed everything from Wasabi Kit Kat bars to Clam Chowder Doritos .

Here’s a picture of the packaging.

Since making the journey all the way to Japan is nothing short of pricey, curious Cheetos aficionados can always purchase a bag on eBay. Judging from recent listings, the snack will set you back around $12. It may be a little expensive, but it’s cheaper than a plane ticket.

What do you think about the Pepsi-flavored Cheetos?
