As you may recall, Taco Bell recently introduced a Doritos Locos Taco, which is a Taco Bell taco with a Doritos shell. If you can’t get enough Doritos or tacos or combinations thereof, the fast food Mexi-chain also serves a side of Doritos with your taco.
(Incidentally, we thought The Inquisitr spotted the horrific ouroboros-like feel of the Doritos Locos Taco Doritos, but Geekosystem beat us to it.)
The big reveal for Doritos Locos Tacos Doritos came on Facebook and, with it, a contest that mirrors the excess of the product itself — for those that can’t get enough tacos, Doritos, or Doritos-flavored tacos, an entire pallet of the taco-tastic, Doritos-riffic treats:
“The rumors are true. Doritos Locos Tacos are becoming Doritos chips. How bold would you go for a chance to be the first to try them? Tweet your answer to @Doritos for a chance to win a #DoritosPallet”
So what’s on a Doritos pallet, you ask? The contest’s lucky winner — the Doritos fan willing to engage in the boldest behavior to score the ultimate munchies package — will receive “66 11-oz bags of Doritos Locos Tacos Nacho Cheese & Crunchy Taco Flavored Tortilla Chips and 66 11-oz bags of Doritos Locos Tacos Cool Ranch & Crunchy Taco Tortilla Flavored Chips.”
