Ranting House Stenographer Dianne Reidy Normally ‘Gentle,’ Reasonable [Video]

Dude seriously, what was up with that US House Stenographer last night, losing her damn mind at the end of a long and high-profile debt default drama and eleventh hour Hail Mary pass from Republicans? Freemasons? Really?

The US House Stenographer, as The Inquisitr reported earlier, went totally nuts and seized the podium, ranting as behind her the gavel banged and operatives scrambled to remove the woman, identified first as “Holly” or “Molly” but then as Dianne Reidy, from her perch of sudden raviness.

In our earlier post, we quoted the strange rant by which the House Stenographer was seized and compelled to deliver until which time she was forcibly removed from the House floor by security — if only someone would call me “sir” without adding, “please stop making a scene.”

Reidy pontificated:

“He will not be mocked. He will not be mocked. The greatest deception here is this is not one nation under God. It never was. It never was.”

Before she was ripped from the microphone, she continued:

“Had it been, it would not have been — the Constitution would not have been written by Freemasons. They go against God. You cannot serve two masters. You cannot serve two masters. Praise be to God, lord Jesus Christ.”

Representative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen was presiding when Reidy, by the Rep.’s account, “came up to the podium area beneath where I was standing and asked me if the microphones were on.”

Ros-Lehtinen explains that the strange outburst was not simply perplexing and bizarre — it was also incredibly out of character for the normally reserved Reidy, and incredibly worrisome:

I hammered to get control and hush her up… She said something about the devil. It was sudden, confusing and heartbreaking. She is normally a gentle soul.”
